The PSL 2020 Player Draft First Round Pick Order for the PSL 5 season held on 3rd November 2019 in Gaddafi Stadium Lahore. In the Player Draft ceremony first-round pick order selection done via bat method popular in Pakistan Street Cricket.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) management and all the representatives of six PSL franchises were present at the ceremony. In Pakistan, the cricket bat pick order method is famous to determine bowling or batting turns. Also, it is also an alternative for the coin-toss method to start a cricket match.
Mr. Ahsan Mani Chairman PCB carved the numbers on the sand with his finger. Then, the numbers were covered with a bat. The representatives of all the PSL 2020 team franchises came and put their team flag in the sand.

- The first pick went to the reigning PSL 4 Champions Quetta Gladiators.
- The second pick went to Lahore Qalandars.
- The third pick went to Multan Sultans.
- The fourth pick went to Islamabad United.
- The fifth pick went to Peshawar Zalmi.
- The sixth pick went to Karachi Kings.
PSL Player Draft 2020 picks have finally come. Remember that PSL 2020 Player Draft consists of 18 rounds. PCB will release the pick order of the remaining 17 rounds tomorrow in November 2019.
